This Privacy Policy describes how GoodFinds AI (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website, web application, and related services (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.
1. Information we collect
Photos and scan data. When you scan or upload item photos (garment, tag, detail), we process those images to extract product identity, sizing, and market signals.
Account and subscription data. If you subscribe, payment is processed by Stripe. We receive subscription status and customer identifiers—not full card numbers.
eBay connection. If you connect eBay, we receive OAuth tokens and account identifiers needed to query listings on your behalf.
Usage and diagnostics. We may collect event analytics, error reports, and performance data to improve reliability (e.g., PostHog, Sentry).
Device and browser data. Standard logs such as IP address, browser type, and timestamps for security and operations.
2. Your photos and data handling
You own the images you upload or capture. GoodFinds AI does not claim ownership of your photos.
You grant us a limited license to process, transmit, and temporarily store your images solely to operate the Service—including OCR, vision analysis, comp matching, fraud prevention, customer support, and product improvement.
Images may be retained for debugging, model improvement, fraud prevention, and support purposes as described in this Policy and our data retention practices.
Scan history stored on your device or in your account is retained according to your use of the Service and our storage configuration.
We may retain logs and aggregated analytics for a longer period for security and product improvement.
You may request deletion of account-linked data by contacting us at privacy@goodfindsai.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe and delete or anonymize data where applicable law requires or permits.
3. AI and informational guidance
GoodFinds AI provides informational resale guidance only. Recommendations are generated using market data and AI analysis. We do not guarantee accuracy of AI-extracted fields (brand, size, style code) or market estimates. You remain responsible for all sourcing and purchasing decisions.
4. How we use information
Provide sourcing intelligence, comps, sell-through estimates, and BUY / HOLD / PASS guidance
Operate billing, trials, and subscription management
Improve accuracy, security, and product quality (including model and algorithm improvement)
Detect abuse, fraud, and security incidents
Comply with law and enforce our Terms
5. Third-party services
We use service providers that process data on our behalf, including but not limited to:
Vercel (hosting)
Stripe (payments)
OpenAI and Google Cloud Vision (image and text analysis)
eBay APIs and sold-comp providers (e.g., Apify)
PostHog, Sentry, Postgres, and Redis/Upstash (analytics, errors, persistence)
These providers are authorized to process data only as needed to perform services for us, subject to their own policies.
6. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect data in transit and at rest. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Your choices
You may stop using the Service and clear local scan history where available.
You may manage subscription and payment methods through Stripe customer portal when enabled.
You may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of account data where applicable.
9. Changes
We may update this Policy. We will post the revised version with an updated effective date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
